Dear Haymarket Theatre Patrons,

You are important us … without you we wouldn’t be here!  For this reason, The Haymarket Theatre has always sought to keep our ticket prices as affordable as possible, while at the same time making it easy for our patrons to reserve and purchase tickets.  A theatre of our size has very limited resources (people and financial) and it is important that we get the most benefit possible out of these resources. Nonetheless, we know that it is important to you to know in advance that your tickets are secured and that you have an opportunity to get tickets for the performance(s) that work best for you.  With these considerations in mind, effective March 15, 2013, The Haymarket Theatre is implementing the following Ticket Policy.

Tickets for all Haymarket Theatre productions are available for purchase in 1 of 2 ways:

        1. ONLINE

  • ONLINE purchase is the best way to reserve tickets in advance.
  • Tickets may be purchased online starting 2 weeks before the opening night of a show.
  • Online ticket sales for each respective performance close one hour before curtain time.
  • Payment is by debit/credit card or PayPal account only.

  • Tickets may be purchased, subject to availability, at the Box Office beginning 1 hour prior to curtain time.
  • Payment may be made by cash, check or debit/credit card.

  • RESERVATIONS - Tickets cannot be reserved via telephone or email.  The Haymarket Theatre does not reserve tickets, we only pre-sell online (or at the Box Office when it opens 1 hour prior to a performance).
  • REFUNDS - Tickets are non-refundable. They may only be exchanged for a different performance of the same show, but only if tickets are available.
  • CANCELLATIONS – If a show is cancelled by the theatre due to weather, tickets will be refunded for the cancelled performance, or patrons may use the tickets for another performance, subject to availability.
  • UNUSED TICKET DONATIONS - If you find that you are unable to use your ticket(s), you may donate it/them to the theatre for a tax-deductible donation. You may request this by sending an email to within 3 days of the ticket’s performance date.  We will mail you a receipt for your taxes.
    • SENIOR: Patrons must be 65 or older to receive the senior ticket price.
    • STUDENT: Student pricing applies to all youth from birth to 18 years. Patrons over 18 must provide a valid college ID to receive the student ticket price.
    • GROUP: Groups of 20 or more attending the same performance and paying together will receive a 15% discount on their total order.
